Sorry to offend your sense of spell.

In New England during the early days of the pandemic the key concern was respirators. In FL for several weeks during a long period in June-July, the second peak, the antiviral drug remdesivir, and convalescent plasma blood products, ran out. Nada.

Distribution of the drug was being controlled by Federal authorities. It took repeated desperate requests from FL government before the situation was relieved for awhile here on the Sun coast. There is much more demand for it in the Miami region.

For many days here there was ZERO of either medical treatment available at the large hospital where my XYL is a clinical pharmacist. Seriously ill patients were left to receive only supportive treatment, and their death rate rose obviously reflecting that limited local availability of resources.

    Copyright that. Immediately! Great phrase.
    All telling.

In the early days of this plandemic in CT, there was a serious shortage of PPE. Our governor's acquisition of PPE secured was dwarfed by that of that of private citizen and businessman Bob Stephanowski. Imagine that...

Most of us who lost power this past week in CT are blaming Eversource - our utility provider - for delays in restoring service. There is some fault there which Eversource should bear, however Eversource and other providers are largely controlled by State "authorities" and hamstrung by regulations.
