I can think of several more entertaining and satisfying ways to deal with that particular problem. Sadly, none are legal ... ;)

What I meant was that the air quality, or lack thereof, in either of those places would be sufficient incentive for people to diligently wear face masks.

I was always going to invent the “sonic groin kick” (tm)
    phone add on kit..!!!
This device administers a quick kick thru the phone lines to the groin area of any telemarketers or any non wanted phone calls sent thru your phone lines wasting your valuable time and annoying you, the “sonic groin kick” (tm) would dispense swift satisfying justice, but I could see how my invention could easily integrate into this “COVID-19”
doohickey insert; (technical name) get yours today for all of your social distancing needs..!!!

Why? Trolling for a caliber war? I thought Amateur radio operators' personalities have been enforcing social distancing for the last 100 years.

Lol actually it is just for fun. For trolling a better argument should be: 9mm is like Ft8 and .38 special is like SSB :p Or polimer guns like DMR vs steel guns are like Analog Radio can also work for that :)

    Hi!

I lived in Tokyo for 2 years.

While I found many aspects of society there to be very nice.

There is a reason I now live in the Blue Ridge mountains of southern Appalachia.

If you are ever in Asheville I would be honored to show you around.

    Hi!

    Thanks for your comment.
    You lived in Japan.
You may have seen it somewhere.
    Do you work in Tokyo?

Until last year, I was working in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
On weekends, I often played in Shinjuku, Akihabara, and Asakusa.

In Tokyo today, I may go to Tokyo due to the problem of coronavirus.
    It is prohibited.

Please come to Tokyo when the problem of coronavirus is solved.
    Let's meet by all means.

I was actually a electronics tecnician on a U.S Navy aircraft carrier in Yokosuka.

It is sometimes very strange for Americans to understand the saying "the nail that sticks up will be hammered down"

出る杭は打たれる (from wiki, I myself know almost 10 kanji :) )

I lived there between 1981 and 1983, I marveled at the wearing of masks back then. What has allways been quite common in your city is quite a new idea here.

In fact, the government of my state of North Carolina had to suddenly suspend laws forbidding the wearing of masks in public!

The best way I've found to keep people "social distancing" is to fake a cough. The crowd parts like the Red Sea.
