One of the main challenges is filling the almost a dozen staff positions at Newington....:)

We live in clown world now so very few will make sense of that vid. There is a price to be paid though so watch out for the deer in the headlights look.

    How do you HAM?
    Often?
    With a radio?
    In the shack?
    In the field?
Im not sure I understand, although the tagline caught my curiosity piqued, I thought HAM was a noun

Would I be out of line if I were to say the ARRL CEO hams with, “members who play an important role in our community or who were large donors.”

    Context, my friend. Context.

    From WordNet (r) 3.0 (2006) [wn]:

    ham
n 1: meat cut from the thigh of a hog (usually smoked) [syn:
    {ham}, {jambon}, {gammon}]
2: (Old Testament) son of Noah
3: a licensed amateur radio operator
4: an unskilled actor who overacts [syn: {ham}, {ham actor}]
    v 1: exaggerate one's acting [syn: {overact}, {ham it up},
    {ham}, {overplay}] [ant: {underact}, {underplay}]

So taking the WordNet definition of the verb, the tag line could suggest his exaggerated acting in the role of CEO. History shows that has been a common trait of a couple recent CEOs - IMO, at least.

    MO--

We live in a world where people want to not only control, but distort or incorrectly portray, facts.

Dave is a good person and deserves better treatment than taking his comments either out of context, or paraphrased in such a way that it misrepresents his point of view. So why should he cooperate given that situation?

    He is owed an apology.
