You’ve obviously forgotten where you are. This is QRDead, where arguing is the point.

Computer is great for sending and receiving canned scripts! FT8 or CW. Just tap a key.

Same here! Army, 05D, Germany, late 80s. We had to reach 20GPM before passing the first part of AIT.

And when reaching my permanent duty station, got stuck in a green box all day.
So, as you can imagine, Morse code isn't my favorite mode, in spite of the ability to use it. :)

Why would one have to be best? There not apples to apples. Just another mode. Each has its on characteristics and highlights!

Now I'm just confused, what about chocolate that has vanilla in it?

I think they are both pretty much equal in terms of politeness, especially when you compare to SSB.

We can only compare what is comparable. CW is radio, FT8 is just computer

And how about Neopolitan? I wonder how Neopolitan Ice Cream got it's name.
We need a multi-mode that can do FT8-CW-and PSK-31 simultaneously and we can call it Neopolitan! I'm sure the computer could handle that. I'm just an idea man. Anyone out there want to implement this?

We could have Neopolitan on Raspberry Pi. Again...just an idea.
