    Her husband is probably not happy about having has scanners seized.

    There has been a sudden upsurge in craziness lately.
    What are they putting in the water these days?

    COME ON! Think about what you just said.... What does the "code" requirement (or lack of) have to do with illegal radio transmissions? Even if she didn't have an amateur license to begin with, she'd probably still be conducting illegal radio transmissions!! Do you really think that just because someone knows the "code," that they wouldn't conduct illegal radio operations/transmissions? It's unfortunate, but illegal radio activity happens by both "no-coders" and "know-coders" alike.

    Gimme a break. :cool::cool::cool:

    OMGoodness! You are totally correct! She is pure trash and her bio has gone unchecked here. Slipped through the cracks. She's a true Inland Empire hillbilly!

    You know;
    I don't see where that figures into this.
    I could make the same argument for relaxing the theory requirements.

    As it is I have to keep from saying "once a CBer always a CBer"

    Now I didn't say that........

    She shouldn't share a cell with Jack Gerritsen.
    You want the whackers to breed or something? :)

    All kidding aside, messing with police/fire/medical frequencies is a definite
    no-no. What I'm curious about is how on earth did this person pass the test?
    Since she did pass the test, how could she not know she would be caught?

    Crazy person,but "Police also seized Levy’s Ham radio technician’s license issued to her by the FCC in September of 2009, Richards said."
    Is that legal?

    Give the poor woman a break...prefereably in a nice white room with padded walls.
    Time for her meds me thinks. Hopefully she will get her licence (and her husbands radio gear) backwhen she can prove she is taking her lithium regularly.

    These things usually happen in threes! Who will be the next crazy ham in the news?

    We could all do without any more hambarasment in the press.

    That made me chuckle, it was so obviously tongue-in-cheek, hence the little laughing icon in your post :)
