I am not allowed to embed a Youtube video on my page.

One of you is talking about posting on the forum and the other about editing a QRZ page.

And the problem is that every time I embed a YT video, whether it is am ordinary video or a short, when the Play button is clicked,my QRZ page goes to Youtube and plays the video there, rather than showing it on my QRZ page, it is really driving me mad. It doesn't even open it in a new tab.

 

I don't see a video on your page but I believe that some videos do not allow embedding and that may be the designed behavior. I know when I post a video on YouTube it asks if I want to allow embedding.

 

No, I removed it from my page.
But thank you for the tip about allowing to embed, I'll check that out.
EDIT: Yes it is set to allow embedding. Same behaviour.
I've left the videoon my page now so you can see for yourself.

Cheers, that was not made clear to me but still tooo easy to post a U-Tube video the way he wants...

 

Youtube is a commercial entity. I wonder if using their property here without permission is legal? Could be expensive (shrug).

Yes, they do allow it, and besides, it is one of my own videos which I filmed myself.
