This would never be type-accepted in the US.
Look at the specs, phone bands are limited and 2G/3G only. So what this is, is a mediocre UHF HT packaged with a practically worthless cell phone. And it's two years old.

Just means someone needs to port a more modern ROM version for this.

The RFinder version of this seems a better deal. Bob is very approachable about working the bugs out. It's really turning into an amazing radio. The RFinder Android HT is much more purpose driven and the phones they're using have more updated versions of Android. And of course, RFinder app driving the whole thing!! No codeplugs needed.

The RFinder version seems to be a bit better than the rest, but for the money none of them seem worth it.

    Very nice!!
But can't wait to take it to a construction site to see just how durable it really is.

I wonder if it DCS tones. Also the PTT button is on the wrong side.

I had the Digoor version of this. It works on UHF ok but I had to get rid of mine, on more than 50% of the phone calls I made the handset would shut down and the only way to get it back is to remove the battery for a few seconds and that requires a screwdriver. ~This does look like a different model though.

This is awesome!! I wonder if an iOS version will be coming out soon. Do you have to supply your own device?
