QRZ unusable now on mobile phone.

My membership expired after I had been having a few problems adding to my log book. It discouraged me from re-joining, but now it's completely unusable on my mobile phone. The top advert changes in less than a second, re-setting my whole screen. Not giving me time to even press the screen before it resets again. I don't want to re-subscribe if there are problems when subscription runs out each year.

 

I no nothing about a membership, I see some subscribe to post "for sales", perhaps that's the same thing. I just checked my Android. Working fine here. No subscriptions or memberships for me.

 

It's when I go to logbook, part of my log book is shown, but it keeps resetting, in less than a second as the top advert changes.

I am, right now, on a mobile phone, on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, posting on QRZ with absolutely no problems.
Maybe the problem is on your end?

 

Restart the phone? Not shutoff, but restart. Give that a try.

 

Turn phone off every night. Full restart every morning. It's only when I'm on logbook it keeps flickering. I think it's something to do with adverts returning after my subscription ended. The advert at the top changes within a second, so the whole screen resets. I don't have time to press buttons.

Yeah, I had to re-join and then it worked again!

Personally I've never had one single issue on my old junkie Android phones over the years using QRZ.

Ps. looooong time ago, as a teenager, I could have been dreaming to go downstairs to the engine room compartment, but those recent years I could wish to pay a visit to the radio-room, too bad they've all been replaced by ugly sat radomes so that thousand passengers could be using a mobile phone at the same time.
A deck full of R-Os would not suffice.

Block ads in Chrome. Even better be a subscriber.

I find using a Cell Phone is useless unless I use ADB running SCRCPY.

I like to see what I am doing... I guess it is just me.
