I have the mighty Feng A58 tri band and the first generation UV82, both are still working great. my 5R went by the wayside. out on the boat fishing ya see, rouge wave came, it went right over the side. only paid $20.00 for it, no biggie. they're not hard radios to program manually. never used chirp or any other source. think my next HT will definitely have more power and link it to a Yagi. the ISS is not out of the question

I would hope that a Baofeng is not allowed for Satellite communications.

How many transponders can they trash at once ???

Too many is my guess.
