Just sharing the following I ran across. A blogger has written about price fixing in the UK involving TYT, and/or their distributor, and their new dual band DMR ht, the MD-2017. The blogger writes: "TYT may be engaging in resale price maintenance with radio dealers in the UK and possibly worldwide." Here's the link: http://radiosification.blogspot.be/2017/05/price-fixing-and-tyt-md-2017.html?m=1 Here's a link from another internet source. In it, the blog documents the following statement allegedly from TYT and/or their distributor, "Regular price is 110(simple)/118usd(GPS). But . . . retailer price should not less than 219/229usd" http://www.trilogy.org.uk/?page_id=283 So . . . problems? . . . appropriate? . . . legal? I'm not sure about the legality issues, especially in the UK. However, I know price fixing leaves a distaste for me in the US, if true.
