You can use your MFJ-269c for more than just an SWR analyzer. There are multiple things this unit can be used for. Here is using it to test coax for faults, and getting the length of various runs of coax. Did you buy an unknown amount of coax at hamfest? Do you have a fault somewhere in 300 feet, and having a hard time finding it? You will see how i saved 45 feet of LMR400 here.

I'm doing a video about putting new batteries in mine.

If you use it much, you'll be doing this quite a lot, so it pays to get good at it.:)

Why not put rechargeables in there never have to open it and you can help save the earth or something like that

Thanks for the video, I bought my 269 second hand and had no idea it had these additional features. I've could have used this many times in the past.

Back in my USCG telecomms days, we used a 25KV impulse generator (thumper) to open up marginal cable faults.
Can the MFJ blow open those hard to pin down, marginal faults? :p

Sometimes, brute force really is the best way to do it. Sometimes, not.
