Great idea Eric, looking forward to hearing the frantic calls "Sook-to-Sook!" in pile-ups Festivus ("... for the rest of us" ) builds on the CornTenna, features a mount for a "Buddipole™". 73, John, WØPV
"So few people understand what others believe." That is, sadly, so true. If more people were aware and respectful of differing beliefs, the world would be a better place. Amateur radio provides an excellent medium for helping to close that divide and uniting folks through a common passion. As WA8PBM (SK) used to say, "Be happy!" 73 es ZUT, Chip W9EBE
Almost all the Jewish holidays have a foundation found in the old Testament. Not hard to find the basis for the beliefs;-)

One of my wife's professors and thesis advisors, who is Jewish (we are not), with whom we became friends following her graduation from grad school, gave us this plaque. Apparently, this the way shalom is said in southern IL. hi (I hope the photo shows up. I'm not sure how to insert a photo in the body of this reply.)

Religious Jews do not operate electronic gear on most of these holidays. The intermediate days of Sukkot are a great time for this outdoor activity.
