I think you are right. If you overlay the APRS.fi map with satellite imagery, it's just a big feild.

The live field is showing some sporadic transmisisons in MMSSTV.

 

Hey, at least something is going on!!! Hoping to be able to hear it.

 

Selkirk, with tracking antennas, is hearing some startup tones, so maybe
they are doing all the testing right now and filling it. Hopefully it will be
up in the air soon.
