I was in Fort Collins, once. Hoping to get a guided tour, I knocked on the door of WWV.

But alas, they wouldn't even give me the time of day. :(

    73,

I was stuck on Oahu for 4 years.

First year was great! Loved it!

Second year, there was nothing left new for me to experience. Sailed around Oahu (counter-clockwise) in my 34' sloop, climbed both peaks several times, did multiple SCUBA dives at the most famous spots, snorkeled Waimea Bay in the summer, did all the tourist attractions, visited all beaches, hiked out to the tip of Kaena Point several times, etc, etc etc.

Third year I did some island hopping. Maui (bicycled down the big hill), Molokai (it's just one big golf course...), the Big Island (drove up to the observatory on Mauna Loa, did some spelunking by Hilo, black sands beach, spit some water on the red-hot lava)... they're all the same.

Fourth year I couldn't wait to get off those rocks in the middle of the pacific.

This job needs to go to someone who was born and raised in Hawaii and considers it home.
