The QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo will return on March 13th and 14th, 2021, to its virtual convention center. The Expo premiered last August and had over 16,000 visitors and over 60 presentations and 40 exhibitor booths. We expect the next expo to be even larger and are hoping to offer more international presentations in our virtual auditorium. We have a new video communications system on our vFairs platform that will allow even better video communications with all participants, both in chat rooms and in the exhibitor booths. We learned lots from the last expo on how to make the next Expo a win-win ham radio event for all who participate. Blind and vision impaired hams will be pleased to know that we have been working with Dr. Ron Milliman, K8HSY, and his team to audit our convention platform so that it will work extremely well with screen readers on updated computers and browsers. Accessibility is a priority for us as we want every ham who wants to attend to enjoy the experience. While we have now over 40 speakers enrolled for the next Expo we are looking for speakers who are also doing unusual projects with ham radio to share with our audience, including but not limited to ballooning, rockets, airplanes, drones, microwave to blue light, integration of other technologies, unusual antenna design, etc. We are selling sponsorships and exhibit booths now. We are offering a 25% discount on these booths for ham clubs, organizations with 501c3 status, as well as amateur podcasters and YouTube channels. AMSAT is one of our first non-profits to take a booth in our March Expo. For more information go to www.qsotodayhamexpo.com, or contact me. 73 Eric Guth, 4Z1UG / WA6IGR QSO Today Virtual Ham Expo
