Why any barrier at all when novices and Tech were grandfather in? Advanced likewise should have been grandfather in at that same point in time..... Besides why don't you leave the Caste System to India as that's what you have created. Since no on air code practice needed , just one written test will suffice. We don't need a cast system of any sort in the great USA, particularly regulated by the Government and the ARRL as the sponsor. View attachment 622914

Novices were grandfathered into what? They still have Novice privileges (nothing more). Advanced still have Advanced privileges. Just curious as what you mean...

I'd renew, if they grand fathered in all the Advanced License holders to the Extra Class. Otherwise I say continue to "boycott" the ARRL !

Just my opinion but if you spent 1/2 the time studying as you do whining and crying you'd have the extra.
