I have really enjoyed the newsletters. I plan on joining as an out of state member. I have a QSL card ready to mail Monday to Brighton Someone's Day. Been waiting on my new ones and they were delivered today. I like that idea and am going to share it with the two local clubs I belong to.
Folks we had a few glitches with sending qsl cards to K7HW. About a dozen did get through so if yours did bounce some did make it. I could not put my finger on where the problem was at. Bob K7MXE
Being a member is much more practical than trying to have it snail-mailed and bound. The monthly newsletter from W7DK with the link makes it easy rather than having to remember to look for the fabulous newsletter each month. Nice group I also sometimes join their 75m or 10m net since I have use a remote on Vashon and enjoyed visiting the clubhouse on a Sat earlier in the year, when I stayed in Kent and dashed from Mike & Key to Tacoma. I was considering taking a break and going to the wwdxc Christmas party in Lynwood Dec 7th but I will also be a special event station W2MM that week and it seems to rain a lot up there in Washington I have gotten interested in the Seattle/Tacoma area clubs since they are the only place in the US where I can participate in various local SSB HF nets. It is also a beautiful area when it doesn't rain I was lucky enough to hit one good day in my last 5-day trip to enjoy a cruise on the Sound.
