I recently made a contact to a man from Norway at his summer house in Spain.

So his call sign is EA5/LA2PC

I have not found a way to log, or even edit the data from a log entry, that will allow me to have his call sign, but with the correct geographic location.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I just logged that call and it comes up ok as Spain.

I see in your log that you logged him as LA2PC, not EA5/LA2PC.
The EA5/ is an official part of his call when he operates in Spain.
Delete that one and re-enter using the correct call and it should be ok.

I did, and QRZ ate the prefix

    I will try to re-enter

Enter here - not from his bio page.

    Okay -- thanks!
I often authenticte what I hear by looking them up, and if it is consistent with what I hear (like QTH or name, etc.) then I log directly from the bio page.
I see now that it introduces errors in this case.
    Thanks for the reply

Not quite. I searched under the EA5/LA2PC, thinking it would propagate the prefix when entering new QSO from the bio page.
It doesn't but removes the prior prefix.

If you enter it directly, it has no trouble doing the correct thing as mentioned above.

That's because its the LA2PC page you were attempting to log to! If there actually existed a EA5/LA2PC page it would have gone thru with no trouble but he only has that call listed as an alias.
    Be watchful of that.
