I had the pleasure of hearing his journey first hand during one of our weekly Zoom meetings with Skyview Radio Society during the Covid lockdowns. One of our members (K3STL) had befriended Alex and invited him to give a presentation and to tell his story. This was one of the few Zoom sessions that I could attend out of all of the weekly sessions and man, am I glad I did! I did not plan to stay for the whole presentation as I had another commitment but I just could not leave. I stayed until he had to sign off for the night. It was well worth it to stick around for the whole story and get a chance to talk with Alex. I felt humbled and honored to have met someone like Alex. I hope that others may have the same good fortune as Alex and make it to the States. Alex, I hope to catch you on the air again and may God continue to bless you and your family! Please keep up the great work and messages that you put forth.
Everyone listening Alex's history will be proud, but if you know how good person he is, you will be double proud. It is an honour to be his friend. 73, Maximo
Alex is a big user of one of the coolest products on the market, the Mercury IIIS solid-state linear amp. I know that because he's a member of our Mercury facebook group. Great story Alex.
