Are you living under the oppressive thumb of an HOA with their uber rigid CC&R? If so, check out this video where I make a stealth 2 meter/440 antenna using an Arrow J-Pole.
Before installing ANY ANTENNA , including disguised , or stealth antennas , we should check the HOA agreement. It may say that only certain types of antennas are not allowed , for example , those that can be seen from the road side , or antennas that are above a certain hight above the roof line. If the HOA agreement however says NO ANTENNAS , then honor the agreement that you made when you moved into a HOA restricted property , and obey the ruling. No antennas means - No antennas. Hams that break the rules , or try to weasel around them hoping that no one will see what they are doing ,, are in reality no different to other 'citizens' type radio services which many despise for their rule breaking. gregW OH2FFY
