since you enjoy "Bashing" me I will make a few comments on the matter.

First that is just one anime site I run nine anime boards under my production company Demented Otaku Productions. Secondly, the vast majority of member to these boards are 1 anime fans and 2 are in field of art (either a student, which is what I am or in the business) Finally, the last time I check which was a few weeks ago, the vast majority of member to Demented Otaku Lolicon board were not men, but women. The women on the board out number the men 2 to one. These boards were set up to cater to either anime fans or art students and as stated I am an art student.

where did I make that statement and YOU probably took it out of context. As I stated on here many times the rules regarding Broadcasting and Information bulletin is a gray area as is pecuniary interest. Until the FCC clarifies the rules we can debate this till doomsday

I would of been happy to go Baxter's show to discuss the problems as I am addressing here. In regards to the vagueness of the rules of broadcast vs Information bulletin, I wasn't going to go on there say "yeah glenn you right" but hey a pig headed ham cop like yourself would understand that. Your not the one who's Information bulletin has been classified as a baxter transmission, Your not the one who was harassed by dumba@@ ham radio operators who read stuff into the rules that isn't there. Until the FCC clears this crap up I will continue to fight. I will not be harassed by a bunch of licensed CB operators called Amateur radio operators and I will continue to RUN my Information bulletin as I feel fit.

The rules are pretty plain as far as I can see. NO one-way transmissions except for 6 specific exceptions, NONE of which fit what Baxter was doing. No real wiggle room there, IMO. I just wonder why it took decades to nail him.

I still say it should be $210,000 fine.... 21k is far too small.

 

Todd, I'm not going to discuss your obsession with child pornography. If the other guys on QRZ want to pal around with you that's up to them. Personally, I find your cartoon images of children having sex with adults nauseating and wrong.

James, I agree with you. The fine should have been $210,000 or the whole situation should have been properly addressed 20 years ago. I can't imagine what they were waiting for.

Speaking of Baxter, didn't he say he'd be on the air until all his licensing issues were resolved? I haven't heard his bulletin on a regular basis since last June. Guess he's busy preparing his defense, which I understand is based on the 5th and 6th Amendments to the US Constitution. Jack Gerritsen claimed that the content of his communications were protected by the First Amendment. Great minds think alike.

 

I am of the opinion that N9OGL should not be associated with here, based upon his admission of illegal activities.

By the way, calling it art is just a sleazy way of getting around the kiddy porn laws. I wish that I could really type out how I really feel about this "waste product exit duct control valve".  

 

I am not in a position to judge his cartoons (alleged child pornography). From what I hear, I am disgusted.

Discussing this topic, and N9OGL's defense of it, is not within the spectrum of amateur radio activity, and thus I see no benefit in maintaining discussions with him on a ham radio web site.

My main issue is the fact that he has admitted to actual ILLEGAL pirate radio activities. I have no interest in having any association with such a person. Your opinion may differ, but I doubt it.

 

I'm with you Chip. Setting aside the issue of his Lolicon BBS, and the fact that he trivializes the Holocaust by calling FCC officials Nazis, I can't imagine why any law-abiding ham would want to communicate with a known pirate. I think the best plan is to ignore individuals like this.

This post started out somewhat calm...but, Todd, you are unravelling right before our eyes.

I agree with Chip as well, if you had ANY contact with the FCC on the matter of broadcasting, and yet continued to operate as a self avowed "pirate", you are wrong! it is illegal, and you should also face the music.
If you are a pirate, have underaged asian porn labeled as "art", have the rosy disposition on usenet that you have...then i can see how your personality would dictate Brian as a "pig headed ham cop", or those who disagree with you are a bunch of "licensed CB operators called amateur radio operators".
You also sound Baxter-ish by saying you will continue to fight the FCC....what are you "fighting"? and why?

And you want to know why we arent the ones who have been harrassed? or classified as a Baxter transmission? because you brought it on yourself.

And your final comment? "i will continue to RUN my information bulletin as i see fit".....you ARE a Baxter supporter, thats a Baxter groupie comment if i ever saw one, you are a pirate and you are imploding...right here, right now.

I listen to everyone, and when I feel the compunction, I disagree with Brian. But my experience is that said disagreements amount to minutia in execution, as opposed to mission, accuracy, or legitimacy of motivation.

Many of us here have great respect for Brian's efforts to push the issues needed to clean up the bands. We should be grateful. I suspect many are.

But, if I was an admitted illegal operator, I might feel threatened. So everyone also understands your position. And most likely doesn't care for it, IMO.
