    Well after not being able to participate in Field Day the 3 previous years. It was nice to finally get to do so. Used a CrankIR from SteppIR along with a Yaesu FT-891 powered by a Bioenno 20ah battery. For me 20m worked the best, but I wasn't able to reach the east coast.

    Yes. It is always the last full weekend in June. It is the most popular operating event in the USA.

    There is also a Winter Field Day, but it is not nearly so popular, because the weather is not as comfortable in most parts of the USA.
