How can I maximize the empty space that is on my QRZ bio page? When I go to EDIT my page, the edit screen is narrower than the actual final product that is displayed on the monitor. As you can see in the screenshots below: the edit page has content, both written and pictures, pretty much filling the page from left to right. But that does not translate to what the finished product will be. When you view that page in "real life", the horizontal space is wider...and therefore I'm left with big empty spaces on the right-hand side. Is there a way to fill the whole space left to right? If so...how?
It will require an understanding of how to float an image, but yes, you can edit your bio page source code to better utilize the space. You can check out my page for an example: https://www.qrz.com/db/kf8ki You can find details on image floating in pretty much any HTML reference. https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_images.asp 73, Steve KF8KI
Thanks....but WOW! A bit over my head. Coding was never anything I understood. But thanks for the help.
If it's not something you want to take a stab at yourself but still want it, QRZ does offer two different levels of page design service for a fee: https://shop.qrz.com/collections/services/products/custom-page-design-service The basic service is also available to higher level subscribers. 73, Steve KF8KI
Yeah, I saw that, and might go that route...although I better come up with some more interesting photos and factoids than what I have now! Make it worth the money. Thanks for the help.
