    Hello,
    Does any know EB1WB?
I received a questionable message from someone using EB1WB's QRZ email and call sign.
I suspect the email has been hacked.
Just wondered if someone could could let him know.

No he's not been "hacked" (QRZ users don't get hacked - when that happens, it's because they fell for a phishing scheme and handed over their info).

But nothing like that has happened.

I just checked the account and user EB1WB has not modified his account in any way in years... no changes to his email in any way.

He's never posted on QRZ and hasn't logged into the site in 2.5 years

    Thanks for reply Dave.
I did not say his QRZ account was hacked.
It looks as if his email has been hacked by someone. That can be done by any means including a Phishing scheme.
As I said, someone is using his call sign and email. That email is the same as his QRZ account.
If someone can contact him and let him know, that would be great. If not, be aware.

Oh gotcha - any idea where that ad appeared? THAT's the place that warnings should be placed. The scammer isn't operating on QRZ

    All is good. EB1WB confirmed.
Dave (W7UUU) is there a way to delete this thread?
