VERY Nice Fred!!! But not for me, I'm still screwed up by learning morse visually when I was young. It has kept me slow on receive for years because I still can't get over visually converting it in my head. UGH.

 

Nr 5 is wrong. It isn't a H (.....)

This sounds very much like the day I discovered that I read slow because my mind is listening to a random "phantom voice" reading it along with me. I am learning to visually convert the letters in front of me while simultaneously muting the narrator. This is actually helping me with code because now I don't have my brain saying "ok, that's an A... now wait a minute, I just missed two words while I was processing that character. Okay, brain, standby while I dump this entire sentence so I can catch up." I haven't fully conquered it yet, but it's a process. 73 de N9TD
