But what is more important is that it is obvious (to me) that hams do participate in our system. I would venture to say that we exceed others in voting, for example.

Hi Bill,

If this 'bill' passes, I have about $35,000 in ham gear I am selling off.

Why?

Because in two years or so, when the first court case goes against the ham, I will be able to buy it back for 20 cents on the dollar. Maybe less. Between the demographics, future decades of horrible HF propagation, and this nails-in-the-coffin 'law', the used gear market will be super-saturated.

Why?

Well, be smart and figure it out.

Probably keep the 7800 and the Alpha 91b. Rest will all go.
