    Good point.

However, Howard came in Oct 2018, and there was a substantially 'new' board in January 2019.

Yep.... I try it with every issue. I find it cumbersome with a computer screen. If you zoom in...forget about navigation. Anyway just my opinion which is completely worthless. Carry on.

It depends upon how you zoom. Check your instructions.

All depends on how I zoom. I only see a + and - to zoom. If you zoom in to where it's readable you can't turn the page. Check the intructions. I love these f****ing windbags that have all the answers. YES I've RTFM. I still think it's cumbersome.

The guy was a bozo. Just look at his inane comments in the magazine. The entire organization is self perpetuating. Ideas to sell more radios seem to be the only thing they are interested in. More cheapened licenses equal more radios equals more ad revenue. Simple economics.

It's pretty much a cover to cover ad.

Howard Michael appeared to have vision for the future. He had good ideas on development of the ARRL to address issues and needs within amateur radio. So his firing looks like a political matter. Could it be that the large group of new directors on the board fired him because he was not "their" guy? It is too bad that actions are taken based on emotional feelings rather than actions based on logic and performance criteria. It makes me concerned about the elected board members and how they are making decisions. It hurts all of us. One example is the recent FCC decision to give the 3.5 GHz band en-bloc to private companies - this means that all who have worked to develop AREDN backhaul networks locally are stopped. Frequency loss, outdoor antenna restrictions, and other major issues face us in the amateur radio community. We need group (ARRL) leadership which steadily works to help us stay ahead of competing interests. Mark, KK0V.

Inflation What cost $100 in 1975 would cost $481.86 in 2019
Interest at 3% roughly $300 so in essence you paid almost $800
