UTC-3 is your LOCAL time. UTC is UTC - it's the same everywhere on earth. Your logging of contacts must be in UTC not in UTC-3 or they won't confirm

Ok, I wanted the booklog time to match my local time, is there any way to set it?

If you set your logbook for local time, and all the stations around the world are using UTC, you will never get any confirmations!

It's very important to log ONLY using UTC and not local time - if you want to have confirmations from the other stations

    Okay Dave,

I'm new to amateur radio and it seems I have a lot to learn with all. Now it's very well explained.

    Tks again,

    Juliano

Also, make sure you are using UTC DATE as well as UTC time.

There is a free smartphone/tablet app called HamClock that makes keeping track of UTC time and date very easy.

I don't want to be redundant, but this may help someone:
To confirm a QSO, the time and date reported by both stations have to match. An evening contact in Los Angeles with a ham getting ready for a day at work in Sydney would result in mis-matched times and dates unless both use the exact same worldwide clock/calendar system, which for hams (and others) is UTC. So don't make offset adjustments to UTC in the log book!
Feel free to adjust UTC offsets for use in the forums, etc. so that postings and messages conveniently reflect your local time - there's no need to worry about what time it was for the person creating the posting, and using your local time gives you a better sense of how old the posting is.

Hello friend, Thank you very much, I fully understand that local adjustments can be harmful when they involve the global system. As a beginner, I thought this was wrong, but with everyone's help, I fully understand that this type of adjustment can harm the logbook. Every day I learn how good it is to be part of this community. Once again I thank everyone for their attention.
    Greetings,
    Juliano
