    Wow...lightning has struck! I was rather surprised to see this happen so quickly. It would appear that the ARRL is in alignment with many here regarding our CEO's management style.
    I myself though that the CEO editorial in the February QST was quite a turn around. But now it appears that the CEO will be replaced before February.
    It will be interesting to watch for the replacement. We will have an interim CEO (retired former CEO) until them.

    If any one here on the Zed is interested a search committee is being formed! :D

    Meh.....they could name God himself as the new CEO....and there would still be folks who would not be happy.

    First saw this on Reddit and surprised at such a short thread here so far.

    I really thought his February editorial was a nice change as though he'd gotten the MBA stuff out of his system and was turning toward ham radio.

    I suppose it will be interesting to see if he was canned or he wanted out.

    Probably a little of column a and a little of column b. Lets face it, hams are a fickle bunch and just farting the wrong way is going to lead to copious piles of hate mail. You could not pay me enough to deal with crap from hams on a daily basis. I am just not that kind of self abuser.

    Naaa he got to add to his resume here, so will be off to a better corporate gig in no time soon.

    I didn't much care for his Newspeak editorials. But I figured he'd likely do OK. My guess? It wasn't his Editorials that got him canned. ;)
