I have never in all my years as a ham heard of a rettysnitch. Did you already know about it or did you just guess? I wonder where that phrase came from? Do you know the history of it? John, WB0MPB
I first learned of the Wouff Hong in the early fifties, from reading QST. In 1957, at the ARRL Convention in Chicago, in a midnight ceremony, I was formally inducted into R.O.W.H. https://geardiary.com/2013/01/22/qu...esteryear-the-wouff-hong-and-the-rettysnitch/ http://www.arrl.org/ham-radio-history http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Hamfest/ARRL Hamfest and Convention Guidelines.pdf 73, Jim
Thanks for posting back Jim. I can always count on you replying to a question. You need to teach that skill to a few on here that post but never reply to questions about their posts. I am thinking of a couple right now. 73, Jim John, WB0MPB
This one threw me off. I answered C: There may be RF leakage, but the correct answer it turned out was D: Nobody Knows. My first thought after that was this must be a trick question.
