These government agencies have done nothing but put lame little webpages up on their websites to make it look like they have shut down and to bitch, cry and whine about being told they are not needed. Most agencies only replaced their welcome page, and you can actually still go to other parts of their site if you know the direct address. The FCC appears to put a rule into their system to redirect all access to one page, so that will not work.

BUT, the license processing is all batch processed automatically every night. Go around the lame FCC website, and look here on the FTP directory, for the raw output each nite, and I bet you will find your license:

The FTP site for the ULS data feed is still up. ftp://wireless.fcc.gov/pub/uls/daily/

It is incredible that we have come to this situation. Of course they would like us all to think that we need the FCC to police the airwaves. It could be done more effectively with volunteers than the paid personnel we are the victims of. Notice who now heads the FCC? Yes, he is a political person tied to commercial interests. I fully expect moves to defer the Ham bands to industry interests. It will be drip by drip so it will not rile up a large population.

Yep, looks like one of the FCC's "essential" workers figured out they left that turned on and flipped the switch yesterday.
