Meeting Bryant and his Mom at Dayton was a highlight for me this year, for sure! He is obviously a smart dude, but his excitement and passion are what stand out for me even more! When you lament the coming generations, think of Bryant and you'll realize the future is in good hands! Way to go Bryant and Mom!!

I know about 10 op's that said 25 yrs ago the code prevented them from getting their license. Today all 10 of them are learning and excelling, or already proficient in code. Smh, this 13yr old is an example of when you apply yourself anything is possible. No excuses!

I know I'm a little late to the party here. However, I am extremely honored to know Bryant through the amateur club I belong to(Jefferson Amateur Radio Club/W5GAD). He is a very intelligent young man and a delight to be around. His enthusiasm for amateur radio is infectious. Congratulations Bryant! We are very proud of you and all of your accomplishments.

 

Bryant, it was great meeting you and your mom at Hamvention and talking with you at the DX Dinner! I am proud to meet you and I wish you every success!

Here is a picture of the Snap Circuits set Bryant mentioned last week. We've had this set for several years. He re-discovered it as I was cleaning out his closet. There's a project in this set that makes a rudimentary key, I think. If you are looking for gift for kids/grandkids, I recommend Snap Circuits. If they enjoy legos, this will be a "next step."
