    17 of the 21 9/11 hijackers had Saudi Arabian passports. Have you refused to have a QSO with any HZ operators? China has multiple human rights violations. Have you refused to have a QSO with any BY operators?

    There are many countries in the world were the politics of the two operators making the QSO do not agree. Why should politics get in the way of ham radio QSOs, etc? Only because governments do it.

    so blame the operator for following the current leaders rules? If that operator is following the rule of law in his jurisdiction why should he be punished for changing regimes and borders. not fair to the hobbyists.
