    Not only was he a magnificent person, but he was very humble. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him at the DX Dinner in Dayton several years ago. He can never be replaced. A huge loss to not only amteur radio, but to the entirety of mankind.

    I too worked him from his home last fall, as well as his dxpeditions.
