I don't remember his callsign, but he had an electronics and Ham Radio channel on Youtube for at least 8 years. A few weeks ago, it disappeared without a trace. Anyone hear anything about how he's doing?
No, he lives in Ohio and is also into electric guitars, lives by himself (his son went off to college recently), and he used to fly planes before his health grounded him. His channel was very down-to-earth. I followed his channel for some time -- I just wonder what happened. https://web.archive.org/web/20240408201639/https://www.youtube.com/@learnelectronics I know he was having issues with Youtube lately (basically the platform is crashing; everyone is watching their revenue dwindle down to nothing). But he never hinted he was going to totally quit, much less take down his whole channel. I hope he's all right.
People take down their YT channels all the time. He probably just decided he didn't want to do it anymore. Just a guess - but this would certainly explain why he's gone. Not someone I followed so no clue otherwise... Dave W7UUU
Someone has asked the same question on Reddit as well: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskElectronics/comments/1f7j2qo/learnelectronics_youtube_channel/
Is this the channel you meant: https://www.youtube.com/@learnelectronics/. I can see it live here. Was it temporarily offline? 73
