    James B. O'Keefe, 89, of Syracuse passed away Friday, December 20 at Crouse Hospital. He was an Army Veteran of WWII, received the Bronze Star, and survivor of the Battle of the Bulge. Jim was the owner of O'Keefe Tools in Syracuse and a lifelong amateur Ham Radio Operator.

    Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Shirley; three daughters, Kathy (William) Schwager of Pleasant Valley, NY, Coleen (Ralph) Feocco of Syracuse, Maureen Anne O'Keefe (Rita) of Oregon; four grandchildren, William (Cindy) Schwager, Jennifer Schwager, Tracy Feocco, Abby (Josh) Grothier; two great-grandsons, Jonah and Carter Grothier; several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tpk with a service to follow at 3 p.m. Private burial Onondaga Valley Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: RAGS (Radio Amateurs of Greater Syracuse) or the Breast Cancer Society.
