Pleased to report W1W is APPROVED to activate thru 4/26 - note: World Amateur Radio Day (overtime) ends on 4/25 - if not already, hope to log your station in the time remaining.

Thanks to W4VEC-VEC for their fast response to our W1W extension request.

FYI, our sponsoring group, the TEN-TEC Legacy Nets, will be activating our regularly scheduled SSB Nets as W1W on 75m tomorrow morning 4/22 3927 KHz from 5AM - 7:45AM ET and Sunday Noon 4/23 - 4PM ET on 7195 KHz - see here https://groups.io/g/TENTECLEGACYNETS for more details.

Frequencies listed are +/- 7Kc's but we generally have good luck given the early time of the 75m Net and on 40m we follow an existing roundtable - for those who use Netlogger, always check the frequency readout at the top of the main window and you can confirm the W1W Activation frequency by visiting the W1W page here on QRZ.

If you like what you read on our homepage and would like to join our growing group, click the link at the bottom of the page to Join - ownership past/present of TEN-TECĀ® equipment is not required.

A few housekeeping items - many have asked versions of: "Is there an official World Amateur Radio Day Log and, if so, where is it?"

Each of this year's (15) fifteen WARD Participating Stations are invited to submit event logs to the IARU/HS4A website - to date, (10) ten of those stations have submitted Logs to include all but (1) one North America Participant several have asked W1W Volunteers about - we can only speak for W1W where our logs are responsibly uploaded within 30 minutes following activation end.

To view the official IARU/WARD/HS4A Log, visit here and select Logbook where you can perform a callsign search: https://hs4a.iaru.org/logbook

There have also been questions about the W1W Certificate which is detailed on the W1W page here on QRZ.

To summarize, every logged Check-in, per the official Log above, is eligible for a FREE 2023 World Amateur Radio Day Participant Certificate.

For the growing number of Check-ins who are logged on any (3) three of the (5) five operating bands to include 80/75m, 40m, 20m and 15m, a "Clean Sweep" endorsement will be applied to the Certificate.

Certificate generation is not automatic - you must request your FREE Certificate by emailing your log information to wardcertificate@gmail.com

Each Certificate is personalized with your name and callsign and will be emailed to you in both .pdf and .jpg (preformatted for placement on your QRZ Bio page) by the tireless W1W sponsoring team - the TEN-TEC Legacy Nets.

It is, we feel, in the best spirit and tradition of Amateur Radio to produce the Certificates at no cost believing there should be no mix of money with World Amateur Radio Day...that is how we roll...come roll with us in the ongoing fun getting ready to activate on 20m USB.

Check the top of the W1W page and look for the flashing "On-Air" sign with the activation frequency listed below - once logged, please remember to spot W1W - many THANKS to all who have pushed W1W over the 2,000 Check-in mark 100% represented by SSB and CW modes only - a record number of Participants in our four years supporting the event - HUZZA!!!

I have a drifty ten tec corsair ii and a pretty solid centurion amplifier. For the life of me ive never heard a ten tec net ever. And ive read several different times and listed frequency from various sites. Im in Arizona. Any i gave up on the tentec nets last year. Too much conflicting information out there and then theres the legacy and non legacy nets and this and that.
