I don't think the family ever registered anything about Glennon's passing or not, but I wanted to make sure he was recognized. I first met Glennon as friends of my parents when I was 10 & 11 years old. Glennon had a little shack off of the side storage sloping carport from his house. I mean it was small. But in there he had an HF XCVR, RCVR, AMP, and Tower/beam control. He was a life long General I guess because he never wanted to do the higher CW requirement but he was an engineer at NORAD. Anyway, I for some reason have always had a strong sense of communications equipment, interest, avocation, training, etc. He had his HAM plates on his 57 Chrysler and that I always will remember. Glennon passed in February 2003 and I'll always be grateful to him for introducing me to the hobby. Good bye OM! 73 and C U down the coax one day. DE W0GDS
