Friends and fellow radio amateurs, It is my sorrowful duty to belatedly inform you of the passing of my father, John, WØEKS. He died peacefully and dignified on the evening of January 2nd, 2017 at 7:15 in the presence of my mother, sisters and me at the age of 90. He was receiving home-hospice care since December 27th after being diagnosed with cancer through much of his body.
