SSTV on 14.230 has been a gathering spot for at least 50 years, there are plenty of other frequency choices on the band, why disrupt the SSTV frequency?
Pretty sure it cant. It is broader than a CW or FT8 signal. SSTV has been on 14.230 since the 60s. Its fine.
Using HRD Digital Master in this instance. Having a great time exchanging images with others! It really isnt to difficult to do! Since i was a kid, I always wanted to do SSTV, but the equipment was out of my range. With MMSTV and HRD it is so much easier!
EZPix by W3WVG is the easy way to go. 14.233 all day morning a few on 3.857 and 3.803 come stop by and send pictures .
I'd hear lots of SSTV on 14.230mhz so I installed MMSSTV and now I hear nothing. It's like when I installed a rain water tank, never rained since
(hopefully) someone replies with a signal report and your callsign "YOURCALL 599 THEIRCALL" in their SSTV image.
Here is a typical SSTV qso exchange... or it really is like an instant QSL card you can print and put on the wall or online to show off. https://www.valleymedia.org/sstv
