    NEW CUMBERLAND — Todd P. Henderson, 34, of New Cumberland, passed away unexpectedly, due to natural causes, Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at the Weirton Medical Center.

    Born, Aug. 7, 1984, in East Liverpool, he was a son of Phil and Donna Cowey Henderson of East Liverpool.

    Todd was a 2002 graduate of Oak Glen High School and he attended Jefferson Community College where he studied Emergency Medicine. He was currently employed at Davita Dialysis in Steubenville, Ohio where he worked as a Patient Care Technician.

    Todd was dedicated to his family and his community. He had served as a volunteer fireman for Newell Fire Department and Lawrenceville Fire Department and he was formerly employed by New Cumberland Ambulance Services; where he worked as a Paramedic.

    He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and being surrounded by his family and friends.

    Todd will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Erin Mellon Henderson, whom he married on Dec. 12, 2008. He will also be missed by his sons, Hunter Henderson and Chance Elliott both of New Cumberland; daughter, Mackenzie Elliott of New Cumberland.; sister, Nicki Henderson Reed and her husband Rick of East Liverpool; niece, Sierra Reed of East Liverpool; paternal grandfather, Rex Cowey of Chester. He will also be missed by his best friend who was like a brother to him, Aaron Beaumont of Chester.

    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nancy Cowey and paternal grandparents, Elwood and Lilly Robinson Henderson.

    Pastor Norm Eckert will celebrate Todd’s life, Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 11 a.m., at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with his family, Friday, July 26, 2019, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m
