The Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society was formed on 23rd December 1972, under the gracious patronage of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said, A41AA. With over 600 members, a fully equipped headquarters and ongoing training programs for beginners, the Society has embraced all aspects of the hobby, and has made excellent technical progress over the years. In Past December-22 Special callsign ( A450RS ) Was Activated for the Royal Omani Amateur Radio Society to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
