Thanks to all who participated in the K5R special event station that was sponsored by the Southeast Louisiana Amateur Radio Club last weekend. Everyone had a good time at the event, although we could have used a little cooler weather.

Pictures are posted at the Yahoo! group listed below for anyone wishing to check them out.

Don't forget to get those envelopes to us if you would like to receive a certificate.

Most importantly, please don't forget about those who were affected by Hurricane Rita on the one year anniversary tomorrow.

Once again, thanks to all who participated.

It's kind of pointless to direct us to photos that are available only to your 54 members. Or seven. Depending on which group the photos are actually posted to.

I am sorry abou that. You can view the photos at the K5R special event station group. I did not realize that you need to be a member to view them. If you would like to view them, please join the group. That's all there is to it. It costs nothing and you can leave the group as soon as you are done viewing the photos.
If this is too inconvienent for you, then try this link:

    Thanks!

Thanks. Nice pics. Everyone looks to have had a good time, especially the kid playing the harmonica in the background. Or was he eating an ear of corn?

Seriously, it looks like a good time was had by all and hopefully Katrina awareness was renewed amongst those worked.
