It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of VA3NY Ron. He was the net controller for the 'Praise the Lord Net' on Cormac CQ100 3.855mhZ for many years until illness made him hand the rains to VK3FMPW a couple of years ago. Ron was promoted to glory by our Lord and Savior on the 11/7/2018 and our thoughts and prayers go out to Anne VA3OY and the family at this time. Ron will be sorely missed on the net that he loved so much. This net used to be called the AAU2 net and the controller was Wayne, this is were Ron first became known to me. Ron VA3NY now at peace with his Lord and making QSO's in heaven. R.I.P Ron.
