VU2NKI, OM Nikhilesh, licensed in 1990 and also an active member of the Calcutta VHF Amateur Radio Society established in 1992, a participant in numerous Castrol Monsoon Car Rallies, Terai Dooars Safari, Orissa Super Cyclone Disaster 05B operation at Jajpur, Orissa and participant at the IOTA, AS153 from Sagar Islands passed away in his sleep on 5th January'2025 at around 7.30 AM. His rig in the 90's was the VU2-NR60 design 20M QRP-10W rig, VHF 2M homebrewed rig and later a homebrewed HF 20M (50W) Rig .. May his soul rest in peace
