62nd Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) & 23rd Jamboree-On-The-Internet (JOTI) JOTA-JOTI is the largest Scouting event in the world with over 2 million Scouts participating across 170 countries. It is an official international event of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) In JOTA Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers and Unit Leaders all over the world communicate each other by means of Amateur Radio (HAM Radio) and in JOTI the communication is by Internet. One needs a valid license to operate a HAM Radio. But during JOTA, Scouts and Guides can communicate through HAM Radio. JOTA and JOTI offers an excellent opportunity to meet Scouts and Guides from many other countries. It is a chance to exchange ideas, learn about other cultures and habits and make new friends. JOTA makes Scouts and Guides feel that they belong to a world wide movement. The Kerala State Bharat Scouts and Guides, Kozhikode District Association and CALICUT HAMS are conducting JOTA and JOTI.
