    Go look up Kirchhoff's Laws on spectra.

    What you are saying is wrong: neutral hydrogen is readily observable in absorption, where is is readily detected.

    Yeah, I caught the "Max PRANK" Institute reference too. Reminds me of an article in the ARRL magazine a few years ago where somebody wrote an article explaining how you could rig a syringe loaded with red food coloring and inject in into the coax feed line to a Yagi and you "see" the transmitted RF.

    Happy April's Fool Day folks. On the other hand, there is good evidence from fossil shellfish that at times the Earth has experienced polar reversal. Kinda scary, particularly if you are still using a magnetic compass

    I wonder Mars is going through the same scenario - is there a decrease in M-Layer density not protecting Opportunity rover against certain FT8 coded HF from Earth which maybe causing rover shut-down?
