Rosie A Wonderful Friend And Great Black Lab

I hope you guys will forgive me but I wanted to post a little tribute to a 4 legged member of my circle of ham friends that passed on last week. Rosie was a 14yr old black lab and one of the coolest dogs you could ever meet. She was a member of our circle of friends just as much as any human. Rosie accompanied us on many repeater installs and just about anywhere else she could manage to wrangle a truck ride. Rosie we miss you but know you are in a better place.

Thank you all for the condolences and for the information on posting pics. I will get some up soon. That just helped solve a major aggravation on here LOL. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and everyone have a Merry Christmas Hard to believe another year has passed us by.

 

Very sorry for the loss of Rosie-Labs are wonderful dogs-Hank,my Lab has been gone 5 yrs now
and we miss him dealy-.

I'm sorry to hear about Rosie, Lawrence. I know how you feel. I used to have a dog named
Terry who was a regular at our club meetings. She made her entrance riding on my motorcycle each week.
She's been gone 15 years now and i still miss her.

 

I, too am sorry.
Erwin, my mostly collie has been gone now for over a year and I still miss him. He had 15 good years. It hurts. I now have two friends now. Jo and Mauser. I love them no less. Their not Erwin, but I dont expect them to be

 

Sorry for your loss, and sounds like a neat dog. We have an 8 year old black lab that has taken over our life's so I know what you mean! Post a pix if you can, it is in ADVANCED and then attach the file.

 

Please allow me to add my family's deepest condolences for your loss. My
late father-in-law had a black lab named, Tar Baby. She was black as coal,
but had a loving personality. When he got her from the pound, they made
him have her neutered (Bassturds - fish poop, ) She would have had
some pretty puppies. He passed away 7 years ago and Tar Baby died very
shortly thereafter. She missed him, terribly. I miss her as well.
