Another great effort by the Roc City folks. The Roc City Net (as they have taken to calling themselves) are a group of hams based in and around the Rochester,NY area.A great bunch of folks. As in the previous four years, the 2023 version of the Roc City Hamfest was held at the Log Cabin Restaurant, in Macedon, NY. This year, some 500 people attended, Flea Market was well stocked and the door prize list was flat out incredible. And of course the food was outstanding as well. (The Log Cabin maintains a top notch reputation in the area.) A great time had by all.
I was there with R. W. Antennas, in the tented area. Nice new floor they put in there. The absolutely BEST part of the Roc City event is NO ADMISSION FEE! Just come and set up your stuff and sell what you can. The Log Cabin people set up a coffee table and sell that and hot dogs and hamburgers and other stuff. And you can buy door prize tickets at the club tent. Nice PA system also, not too loud but enough to hear all over the place.
