Robert H. Kizzer, KA2IWM SK SK JULY 31, 2015 Robert H. Kizzer, age 78 of LeRay St. Watertown passed away Friday morning July 31, 2015 at Samaritan Medical Center where he had been admitted on July 8th. Robert was born February 10, 1937 in the Town of Hounsfield the son of Robert S. and Rena Liscomb Kizzer. He attended school in Clayton. He entered the Navy in July of 1954 and was discharged in December 1957. He then served in the Navy Reserve until 1962. Robert married Shirley J. Kirkby May 22, 1959 at the Depauville Methodist Church. She passed away November 16, 2003. He later married Mary Cayey on January 21, 2005 in Watertown. Robert was an electrician and worked at DEXElectrics for 25 years. He worked at Watertown Correctional for 7 years and 4 years as Maintenance Supervisor. He retired from Cape Vincent Correctional in 1999 after 5 1/2 years as Plant Supervisor. He is survived by his wife Mary and a daughter Dorrie Pepe and her husband Michael of Watertown, a grandson Joseph Pepe, stepchildren: Robin and Robert Kiernan of Watertown, Tammie and Thomas Kiernan of Copenhagen, Mike and Maryjo Carpenter of Watertown, Neil and Cherie Dicob of Watertown and Todd and Amy Dicob of Watertown, 11 step grands and 4 great step grands, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters: Melvin, Raymond, Roy, Leonard, Carl, Gordon, Doris Hosner, Alberta Savage and Audrey Barker. Funeral services will be Wednesday August 5th at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 11:00-1:00 prior to the funeral.
